What a perfectly brilliant day

I am not gonna lie. Today was great, my girls got to spend an extra day with their dad, so good for them, and yay for me. I got to have some fun time without small people. It was magical. So look, I talked about needing some me time, and while it only lasted about two hours, it was still really nice. I felt less wound up and more relaxed when I went to work. Another Xanax free day. Haven’t had one since Thursday. This may not seem like much to you, but before my break up with Carlos, I was poppin those things like tic tacs every other day. So since then I am happy to say I can count that I have had three. I think that is pretty good. I am all about the regulation of not taking too much of something. While I have a very non addictive personality I prefer not to tempt fate by over using anything. So I have rules in place for my medicine. No more than two in a day and never two days in a row. I don’t want my brain to become mush.

Can’t have a brain squished mommy for my beebees. I realize everyday how grateful I am for my girls and my family. They don’t define me, but they are a big part of my life. I love them and I am glad to have them.

Bedtime looms and as I yawn I know that it’s early to rise and get munchkins ready for school. Then home to work on more things on the apartment and the CPS drama will continue.

Always praying and always with all my love,
Lady X
